Ver esta publicación en Instagram We’re back with another piping hot podcast for ya today! On this episode @mad_about_the_house and I discuss our top pick from the recent book launches which are made up of these three hot of the press beauties. We talk all things colour psychology with @karen_haller_colour, get some intel in decorating your rented pad with @grillodesigns and discover how we can live a little more sustainably with @christina_strutt. All links to the books with some mouthwatering photography all over on my blog too this morning! We also debate maximalism versus minimalism. Which one are you when it comes to decorating tastes? I know what camp I’m on! And @mad_about_the_house gives us an update on her #dolessharm directory so we have a catch up on sustainable issues too. You can listen to The Great Indoors podcast on any platform and if you are able to do so, please leave us a rate and review! It does just give us a little boost, in spirits as well as ...

mesita algarrobo empapelada Ver esta publicación en Instagram Happy Monday! I’m happy to share I’m feeling so upbeat and energised this time of year. The work diary isn’t too busy and I’m getting lots of head space to plan the next chapter in my business. I’ve been a bit quiet on here lately as I’m feeling a bit stuck on what to share on here. I want to be of value, to lift up and inspire and share myself. But I also want my own off line life too. I think this is a tricky balance that maybe we all grapple with at times. But look, here is my hallway! It’s my Happy go to place. Ta Ra for now until I think of something more meaningful to share! . .

Ver esta publicación en Instagram This is a peek at my little holiday cottage in the centre of Brighton down here in the south coast. It holds a very dear place in my heart as my husband and I renovated it the year we got married back in 2009. My husband is a builder and bought it as a project and we’ve kept it as a thriving holiday home ever since. It’s hosted many a memorable hen do and fortieth birthday. It’s the perfect bijou bolt hole tucked down a secret twitten lane in the heart of the dining district. We put it on the market as I was feeling stressed by managing the bookings and the interiors were beginning to feel tired but we hadn’t the resources to re decorate it. Then last month we took it off the market, found ourselves a brilliant bookings manager and threw ourselves at a redesign. Still underway! Ten years later this room still gives me all the feels though. The headboard wall is made up of a Tetris series of shapes each upholstered from collection of...

Ver esta publicación en Instagram PODCAST DAY! After gallivanting around Marrakech with @mad_about_the_house we are back to Blighty with a bang and a home tour around the wonderful home of interior designer, architect and expert in biophilic design @oliverheathdesign . His family home in Brighton is a masterclass in how you can combine pioneering sustainable design with wonderfully good taste. He completely remodelled his 1960’s home to be energy efficient and optimum for health and wellbeing. Yes there are green walls, plants every where, and stroke-me wooden walls but there are more brilliant, easy take home tips to help you feel healthier and happier in your home. This really is an excellent episode and I’m thrilled to have Oliver’s insight to share with you all. Thanks so much to @toppstiles for supporting the series and to @katetaylorldn for producing us. Ver esta publicación en Instagram I went shopping for sofa as at the weekend. Well I went to try out some styles because while looks are important, comfort is everything! I’m a bit limited in my choice as I want to fulfill my lifetime ambition to own a chintz sofa. I’m so ready to embrace the riot of pattern and I totally know what floral print I want too. Sounds like a commitment but my love affair with florals is well established. We’ve been here at the house for three years and we are slowly getting round the house, room by room but getting the living room up and together will be monumental as at the moment it’s a random hodge podge is blankets and throws.. You should always start a scheme with something that sparks joy, be it a favourite colour or print. So I cannot wait to share with you on here what I have gone with! . . . #hodgepodgedesign #hodgepodgeinteriors #myvintagehome #colourlover #banthebeige #cornerofmyhome Una publicación compartida de Sophie Robi...

Ver esta publicación en Instagram Happy Monday! It’s half term week so I’m enjoying a house full of chaos and kids. Creating a home that can take the knocks, that I don’t feel too precious about and that everyone can feel relaxed in is super important to me. Reclaimed surfaces, scrubbable floors, washable loose covers, and everything patterned helps lower the stress levels when you have dogs/kids/babies in the house! And a weekly cleaner! . . . . #kitchen #banthebeige #kutchengoals #countrykitchen #countrylife #colourlover #ercol #colourismyjam #cornerofmyhome #myhomethismonth Una publicación compartida de Sophie Robinson (@sophierobinsoninteriors) el 16 Feb, 2020 a las 11:45 PST
