I can’t bring myself to think about highlights and low points or what I’m going to smash in 2019. I’m indulging my Iazy self and my head cold for a few more days yet! Have a good one folks! #happynewyear Una publicación compartida de Sophie Robinson (@sophierobinsoninteriors) el 31 Dic, 2018 a las 5:53 PST

Ver esta publicación en Instagram I’m thrilled and excited in equal measure to be hosting a panel debate on Friday at the Etsy Good Store pop up shop in London’s fashionable Covent Garden. The lovely folk at @etsyuk have invited me to spend the day with them and explore the subject of conscious consumerism. I’ve loved Etsy since its inception as it’s a platform that supports small businesses, makers and craftspeople. What I love most about Etsy is it’s filled with passionate designer makers who sell for the pure love of making beautiful pieces and I’m often amazed how the prices are far from scary. I’m a massive lover of the unique, the handmade and yet also the affordable too! When it comes to designing my own home I love to mix high street, vintage and one off pieces as this is the recipe for a home with plenty of verve and personality, and that’s what its all about for me. I think we are all increasingly aware that we need to be far more conscious of how and what...

Ver esta publicación en Instagram We’re back with another piping hot podcast for ya today! On this episode @mad_about_the_house and I discuss our top pick from the recent book launches which are made up of these three hot of the press beauties. We talk all things colour psychology with @karen_haller_colour, get some intel in decorating your rented pad with @grillodesigns and discover how we can live a little more sustainably with @christina_strutt. All links to the books with some mouthwatering photography all over on my blog too this morning! We also debate maximalism versus minimalism. Which one are you when it comes to decorating tastes? I know what camp I’m on! And @mad_about_the_house gives us an update on her #dolessharm directory so we have a catch up on sustainable issues too. You can listen to The Great Indoors podcast on any platform and if you are able to do so, please leave us a rate and review! It does just give us a little boost, in spirits as well as ...

mesita algarrobo empapelada Ver esta publicación en Instagram Happy Monday! I’m happy to share I’m feeling so upbeat and energised this time of year. The work diary isn’t too busy and I’m getting lots of head space to plan the next chapter in my business. I’ve been a bit quiet on here lately as I’m feeling a bit stuck on what to share on here. I want to be of value, to lift up and inspire and share myself. But I also want my own off line life too. I think this is a tricky balance that maybe we all grapple with at times. But look, here is my hallway! It’s my Happy go to place. Ta Ra for now until I think of something more meaningful to share! . .

Ver esta publicación en Instagram This is a peek at my little holiday cottage in the centre of Brighton down here in the south coast. It holds a very dear place in my heart as my husband and I renovated it the year we got married back in 2009. My husband is a builder and bought it as a project and we’ve kept it as a thriving holiday home ever since. It’s hosted many a memorable hen do and fortieth birthday. It’s the perfect bijou bolt hole tucked down a secret twitten lane in the heart of the dining district. We put it on the market as I was feeling stressed by managing the bookings and the interiors were beginning to feel tired but we hadn’t the resources to re decorate it. Then last month we took it off the market, found ourselves a brilliant bookings manager and threw ourselves at a redesign. Still underway! Ten years later this room still gives me all the feels though. The headboard wall is made up of a Tetris series of shapes each upholstered from collection of...
